Here’s an oldie, but probably my best Milky Way photo. The conditions were absolutely stellar (see what I did there 😂). These hay bails were sitting perfectly in an open field, just waiting to be photographed. Off in the distance is the small town of Alta Vista, KS. No, that’s not a sunset. It’s light pollution, but it works for this image.
